Anxious parents were waiting for the teenage driver by the phone. Phone rang. “Why are you late, darling?”

“Oh, nothing. The tire went flat.”

“How?”

“Oh, nothing. It just ran over a knife.”

“You should have been careful!”

“Am I supposed to know what is there in every padestrian’s pocket?”
