Arise, Awake and enjoy a joke by Yama himself!

In kaThopaniShad, Yama says:

uttiShTha, jaagrata, praapyavarannibodhata
khurasya dhaaraa nisheetaa duratyayaa
durgamampathastatkavayoh vadanti

“Arise, Awake and strive till the best is achieved”

Given it is impossible to arise till being awake, no wonder in the subsequent line he says:

“The learned (who knows that it is impossible) call the approach tougher than walking on sharp razor edge”
