Unsolicited calls can be confusing

Filed under: Unsolicited calls to K. Chandrasekhar Rao — pramath @ 5:51 AM

(Tuesday, 7 February 2006)

“May I talk to Chandrasekhar Rao please?”

(This time I let it go a bit.) “Speaking!”

“Sir, I am calling from xyz bank. May I know which credit card are you holding?”

“I am not holding a credit card. I am holding a cellphone.”

“Sir, I mean to ask, which credit card are you using?”

“Sir, I am using a cellphone and not a credit card!”

(murmer. The caller hangs up.)
