The elder one was upset. I asked him why.

“Nothing!”

“Who all does that ‘nothing’ involve?”

“My friend and his dog!”

“What happened?”

“My friend cut some fur of his dog!”

“Not exactly good if the dog did not like it!”

“That is not what makes me angry.”

“Then what?”

“You know my friend is a Sikh. Their Guru told them to not to cut hair! He does not follow the Guru’s advice.”

(Silence for a while) Elder one continued:

“Oh! You don’t understand it at all! The dog is insulted!

The dog belongs to his family. The dog is a Sikh dog!

I am feeling so hurt!”
